I am a Cybersecurity professional who has been serving in the Cyber Security Field for over 21 years teaching and training people, just like you! I have been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2009 and I didn’t pass it the first time…but no more!
I started my career wanting to be an airline pilot and as a result I ended up joining the military to achieve my dreams. As a result, I ended up being Weapons System Officer (WSO) flying B-1B Bombers (Yea Baby!) for the United States Air Force.
However, God had a different plan for my life and in a short period an opportunity occurred for me to be part of an elite group of military hackers…USAF Red Team. Our mission was to expose gaps in military computer systems so that proper protections could be implemented to protect national security. I was blessed to eventually become the Commander of the 177th Information Aggressor Squadron (IAS) and retired after 10 wonderful years.
After deciding to leave the military, was fortunate to begin working for one of the largest multinational companies in the world as a Security Architect. Over a period of the next 11 years, I have been the manager of a Security Operations Center (SOC) managing a team of 15 Security Analysts as well as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in various capacities over the years.
In addition, I was an Adjunct Professor at a local college (Wichita State University) in Kansas, teaching Cyber Security Risk Management and Cyber-Physical systems.
Currently, I am operating as a Partner/Cybersecurity Consultant for a company called Next Peak, which is focused on cybersecurity expertise related to the financial and healthcare industries, and as a fractional CISO for various other cybersecurity consulting companies.
Bottom line: If you are looking for someone who can teach you the test as quickly as possible so that you can pass the CISSP in weeks, this program is not right for you.
However, if you are looking to obtain your CISSP certification and the knowledge to be successful, and desire to work with someone who has held many positions within the cybersecurity space, strive to achieve...this program is for YOU! You Got This!!!!
