I’m a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 24 years of experience in IT and a clear mission: helping individuals like you achieve CISSP certification success.
I earned my CISSP in 2009—but I’ll be honest, I didn’t pass on the first try. That experience gave me a unique perspective on what it really takes to master the material and succeed, especially when balancing a full-time career, family life, and other responsibilities.
My professional journey began in aviation—as a Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor—and later transitioned into a military career as a Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) flying B-1B Bombers in the U.S. Air Force. I ultimately became Commander of an elite USAF Red Team squadron, leading cyber and physical penetration operations around the globe.
Beyond my military service, I’ve served as an Adjunct Professor at Wichita State University, teaching Cyber-Physical Systems and Cyber Risk, and held leadership roles including Senior Security Architect, SOC Manager, and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for large multinational organizations. Today, I work as a Cybersecurity Consultant and Fractional CISO, primarily supporting clients in the healthcare and financial sectors.
